Preparing Native American Youth To Receive Their Minors Trust Funds

Why a Financial Literacy Course?

Your Tribal Leaders feel a strong desire to help you become well educated. Because you will be receiving money from the Minors Trust, they especially want you to know how to use that money well. We have designed this financial literacy course to help you, as Native American youth, prepare to receive and use your Minors Trust funds wisely. This course will provide you with:

How To Take The Course

The Financial Literacy Course consists of Four Lessons, which can be viewed and completed on your computer, phone or tablet. You can stop during a lesson, and then go back and pick up where you left off.

The slides in each lesson are timed which means each slide is open for a certain amount of time before you can go on to the next. What’s important is to take the time to understand the principles in the lessons and how they apply to your life. Take notes, do the exercises, and learn along the way and these classes will help you for years to come.

Each lesson includes a quiz to be sure you are ready to move on. At the end of the four lessons, you will be required to take a final exam to show your understanding of the material covered.

Below are the steps to take to enroll in the course and begin your journey of learning!

Step 1: Register As A Student User

Before you can start any lessons, you have to register and enroll as a student user. This allows you to go through the lessons at your own pace and keep track of your progress throughout the course.
